I am currently a Research Assistant in Mechanical Engineering Department at Stony Brook University, USA with my advisor, Prof. William Stewart.

Before enrolling in SBU, I graduated from Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST), where I pursue BS degree in Mechanical Engineering (specialize in Robotics and Control System) under the supervision of Prof. Huitaek Yun and Prof. Hyun Jin Kim.

My research focuses on enhancing safety in physical human-robot interaction by integrating passive approaches, such as optimizing hardware design, and active strategies, including advanced control algorithms. I had experience in developing comprehensive control flatforms for many robotics systems including industrial manipulators and autonomous vehicles.
